A prayer is a constant reminder that we are beggars.

The act of praying or meditating either for religious or spiritual reasons is something most of us have done at some point or the other. It’s an act where one is most true to their identity, most vulnerable and naked. We are our true image when we bow

Twilight at Agonda beach – Chattai

A Simple Path

My calm peaceful book reading at Palolem is interrupted by laughter. I look up to see fishermen joke amoung themselves. They seem idle, as some smoked a bidi, while another waved his hands in the air describing some weird scene, while others looked at him with crooked smile.

The simplicity of the whole setup, and the idleness (for some) of the fishermen as they lazed

Lady in Red – Low light photography

Low light photography is always a bit difficult, especially when you want to avoid a strong light source like flash. This snap above took many trials, I think we took more than 60 snaps before we finally selected the one above. It also took months

When anyone comes to Goa, the first thing on their mind is Calangute beach. Calangute, once a small fishing village, was popularised by the hippies, and through word of mouth became the hot-spot for them

There’s something about the water – that solitary kind of peaceful feeling. You’re on Earth but not quite.

My perfect holiday is always at the beach.. I try to avoid a place which is packed with people and rather choose a more secluded spot. There is nothing more

Don’t deliver us from Evil

04 Dec 2011 | no comments » Add a comment

Good vs. Evil, Light vs. Dark etc have had a long battle since the beginning of the intellectual era of mankind. Evil/Dark is always frowned upon. It has been revolted against so much that any talk, discussion on it is seen as blasphemy.

Evil/Dark however is important.

Take for instance the earliest concepts the war
