I was prepared for the worst when we decided to spend some time on a house boat (6 hours) in the backwaters of Kerala. People gave mixed opinion about it and in the end I was totally confused if its good or not but decided to go ahead anyways.

My calm peaceful book reading at Palolem is interrupted by laughter. I look up to see fishermen joke amoung themselves. They seem idle, as some smoked a bidi, while another waved his hands in the air describing some weird scene, while others looked at him with crooked smile.

Sunset images like these are very easy to capture and give stunning results. 1/3 rule works well for this, and I prefer not placing the sun right in the middle.
