House or a Lodge? Marshall House, Colaba
As I guided the taxi guy to this place with the phone held tight to my ear and my eyes searching for my friend waving out on the road, I came across this huge rock solid 100 year old building. I saw my friend tumble out and we quickly picked up my stuff and approached a colossal door, as my friend pushed open the door, a huge corridor revealed itself with doors on the left, around 10 doors atleast. Seeing a huge pile of neatly kept footwear on the right, added to my belief this is a sort of a lodge arrangement, and probably my friend stays in one of these rooms. Was in for a shock when I came to know that this entire place is just for them. Its such a lovely place to live in.

I stay now in this Marshall House. In fact there are six houses in one Marshall House. 4000 Sqft house for one guy only.

Living here was quite an experience .. we defence people normally do not get attached to our homes ..coz we change them every couple of years …but this one will remain close to my heart always …more so coz i got married here :-)
Not on purpose. The sepia tone is done by software. Not sure about my writeup, but thanks for the encouragement.
